7:00pm Meeting called to order

 

Attendance:  Dave Robbins, Joe and Lora Fetzer, Donna Ditch, Michelle Cox, Sharon Rohm, Crystal James, Daniel and Sylvia and Dave Anderson, Janet and Chip Jenkins, Kent Davis, Mr C., Kathy Kindall, Jeff Schreiber,

 

Meeting Minutes from October meeting were read by Donna Ditch. Lora Fetzer motioned to accept minutes; Janet Jenkins 2nded.

 

Financial Report: Uniform fund now has over $6,400. Cavalcade money went into the band fund- profit $7,468. Kathy has requested when making out checks they are made out to ‘Cloverleaf Music Associates’.  Lora Fetzer motioned to accept financial report; Dave Robbins 2nded.

 

Mr. C. Updates:

  • 11/10 Jazz ensemble 7pm
  • 11/21 Lafayette United Methodist Church 5:30pm Jazz Band (dinner at 5:00pm)
  • 12/8 Pep band; will do 4-5 games; voluntary
  • 2/12 solo ensemble
  • Cavalcade Saturday after Labor day next year
  • May 15 Jazz ensemble going to Cedar Point
  • Jazz ensemble may go to Monsters game 2/24
  • 11/23 Jazz band starts after school on Monday 6-7:30pm
  • Chaperones that ride busses next year will need background checks.

 

Old Business:

  • Website; add links to performances on the website
  • Indoor Concessions; There are openings for volunteers during winter concessions. November 27 is first game.
  • Fundraisers;
    • Donut sales; went well over the season; Thank you Barb and Mark for your dedication to this fundraiser.
    • Wreaths; Crystal; Earned $642 on sales. Delivery is week after Thanksgiving via UPS. Distribute wreaths from the trailer.
    • Cash Cow update; Sales going well.
  • Uniform update: Close to a final design

 

New business;

  • caringbridge.org/visit/korywiita is the website for the family of Kory Wiita.
  • Joe Fetzer Motioned to donate $300 to the family of Kory Wiita; also put donation cans at each of the games at winter concession tables; along with profits over the $300 at the Feb 26th Lora Fetzer 2nded.  (all net proceeds from the Highland Cloverleaf boys basketball game on 2/26 will be donated to the family, along with collection cans). Donations to benevolent fund at First Merit.
  • Newspaper articles have been few; articles have been submitted but not being published. Jeff addressing this
  • Nominating committee; Vice President, Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer; Need volunteers for the nominating committee.  Kim Schreiber, Dave Robbins, Joe Fetzer.
  • North Ridgeville letter; Crystal read the letter to the athletic department stating that we are donating $30 to the athletic department and apologizing for the amount of chaperones and children who attended their game but did not pay.
