7:10pm meeting called to order

 

Attendance:   Jeff Schreiber, Donna Ditch, Janet Jenkins, Paula Lindsey, Pat Icardi, Mr. C, Mr. Winter, Kathy Kindall, Tricia Scott, Karen Tate, Sharon Rohm, Joe and Lora Fetzer, Dave Robbins, Lisa Nichols, Christie Koehl, Dave and Sylvia Anderson, Kim Schreiber, Kent Davis.

 

Meeting minutes read by Donna Ditch; motion to approve by Lora Fetzer, seconded by Janet Jenkins.

 

Financial Report given by Paula Lindsey;

  • Operation account balance approximately $13,000; County Fair and Cavalcade contributed to this; rebounding very nicely since uniform purchase
  • 10% profit getting transferred to the uniform account
  • Disney trip account balances. See Paula for account balances.
  • Indoor concessions doing better this year; last weekend 1/7 was very good at $900 profit.
  • Lora Fetzer motioned to accept minutes, Dave Robbins seconded

 

Disney Trip:  Payments are falling behind; please be prompt with payments

Fundraisers:  Still need volunteers for concessions; Christine Haslem making phone calls

 

Auction:

  • April 23 or May 14 catered dinner ($10 to $15 per dinner) and silent auction and basket auction of new products or services
  • Volunteer opportunities for the event:
    • 8 volunteers needed to solicit businesses
    • 4 people for check out table
    • 2 people for check in
    • 1 person for inventory control for incoming items
    • Need volunteers for mailings
    • Basket makers
  • To be held in gym (Relay for Life is in the cafeteria that weekend)
  • Looking into performances at the event
  • Barb Vasil chairperson/committee lead
  • Contact Kim Schreiber to volunteer

 

Mr C update:

-          Concert 2/24; 9th and High School Band (2nd and 1st period bands)

-          Chaperone Trip meeting 2/14 before regular meeting

-          40 entries for OMEA Solo & Ensemble, 15 choir

-          Mr. C covering entrance fees; need to pay for accompanist $10

-          May 31st Mr. C’s last day

 

Other old business:

  • 10 x 10 tent purchase and a little larger one 10 x 15, approximately $200 each; Kim motioned to purchase the tents; Joe Fetzer motioned to accept; Janet Jenkins seconded.
  • Thank you Sharon for taking the lead on concessions with Kim.
  • Tent rental for July 2nd; currently stored in storage facility; letters for tent rental agreements; need to have a volunteer to take the contracts over. Joe to take this on

 

Elections:
