Music Director Report:
- Winter gave thanks for a successful Disney trip
- Discussed student survey results – possibly cater food to save time on trip
- Announced middle school concert for Feb 28th
- Announced high school concert for Mar 11th
Old Business
- Stated that Indoor and Winter Guard instructors are under contract for next year. 6 Instructor positions in annual contract.
- Indoor Drumline and Guard will now be a listed fee sport and not pay to play
- Discussion that school is to take over marching band fees
- Discussion of Applebee’s fundraiser – March 30th
- 200 - $20 tickets, 7 tickets per student
- 1 Meal (not a buffet)
- Max of 300 people
- Discussion of concession help March 14-16
- 3 Outstanding payments for Indoor/Guard issued; collection letters sent
New Business
- Discussed ideas for a fundraiser for middle school Cedar Point trip
- Discussion of getting volunteers to take down trophies from school, clean and store them until new school is up and running. Needs to be finished over spring break, Percy asked to have them re-purposed.
- Discussion of a Memory Pillow Fundraiser to re-purpose uniforms
- Discussion of Spring Fundraiser – Boyerts Baskets and Flats
- Discussion of volunteer appreciation dinner – tentative April 26 at Lodge
- Approx 20+ more students than last year to participate in the 8th grade Cedar Point trip per Favalon
- Propose fundraisers (Malley’s chocolates, Practice at home) – put to vote that CMA to increase covered costs to $25 per student (1st Winter, 2Nd Percy) unanimous
