Attendance:  Dave Robbins, Joe and Lora Fetzer, Kent Davis, Pat and Laura Icardi, Dave and Sylvia Anderson, Michelle Cox, Paula Lindsey, Donna Ditch, Barb Vasil, Sharon Rohm, Tricia Scott, Crystal James, Janet Jenkins, Jeff Schreiber, Cheryl Eagan.

 

Meeting Minutes: Read by Donna Ditch. Lora Fetzer motioned to accept minutes, 2nded by Dave Robbins

 

Financial Report: Paula reviewed account balances and reported our profit for concessions this year is $4898.00.  Uniform account and CIF account is separate then the amount of money in the General Fund (Balance 2/28/2010 line item on the financial report). Crystal James motioned to accept financial report, 2nded by Barb Vasil.

 

Mr C. Updates:

Florida trip - Nov or end of Feb more time to raise money

Uniform update- Mr C showed everyone the new uniform

OMEA results were 1 and two 2 ‘s on the floor and 1 on site reading.

Cavalcade update - Judges are booked, bands not contacted yet

Jazz band schedule go out for Arts Expo

Malley’s still collecting it – last day to turn them in is Tues 3/9

Jazz ensemble concert on Saturday for Line Dancing 3/20

Elementary jazz 3/23

Arts expo 3/26

Theory class- field trip to King factory

State on 4/24 – for OMEA

Guard – recruiting from lower grades for participation.

 

Website update:

Kent and Michelle are working with Brian to update the website.

The site will be switched from a .com to .org by end of April. End of May finalized, then decide who will have access to update the site.

Brian paying $7 per month to maintain the site. Michelle proposes to reimburse Brian once it’s finalized and we’re handling the site.

 

Fundraisers

  • 4/17 mattress sale- we have no liability if no mattresses are sold. Kids hand out flyers and by having their name on these flyers, when someone buys a mattress and turns in the flyer with their name on it, they’ll get money for that mattress sold. The money earned will go into their trip account.
  • Rally in the Alley- guarantee to make $1000 this year.
  • Ice cream social staffed by non profit to serve ice cream and pie for Medina community band concerts. More information to come.
  • Still actively seeking donations for uniforms
  • Examples of Auction donations so far- tickets to Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, Put in Bay Ferry, Snow tubing at Boston Mills, Baylor Beach, Malley’s, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Emerald Woods Golf, Botanical Gardens.

Hoopla palooza- need concessions for this event 3/23

 

New business:

Create logo for Cloverleaf Music Associates to use as a standard stationery.

Kent needs tent- July 17
